RESTAURANTS & EATERIES
As you can see from the lists below, we LOVE to eat! If you find a new restaurant that really stands out, drop us an e-mail, tahoemccloudrental@att.net, we’d love to hear from you!
You can often find great dining coupons in “The Weekly” (pick up a free copy outside any of the area’s supermarkets – new issues of “The Weekly” usually come out on Thursdays). Discounts are usually on dinner, e.g. 2-for 1 pricing on dinner entrees. A lot of Tahoe’s finest restaurants offer these dining deals, including many of our favorites mentioned below. During peak summer and holiday periods it’s tough to find dining deals, but discount coupons are easy to find during Tahoe’s non-peak seasons like spring and fall (another factor to keep in mind when you’re planning your trip to Tahoe).
Incline Village:
- T’s Rotisserie (inexpensive): good burritos, tacos, and rotisserie roasted chicken – their “family pack” take-outs are a great deal and an easy way to bring in dinner. Located at 901 Tahoe Blvd. (corner of Village Blvd. and Hwy 28, next to the Seven-Eleven). Tel. 775-831-2832
- Yoshimi Sushi (moderate) - hands down the best sushi on the north shore. Located in the Christmas Tree Center at 882 Tahoe Blvd. They offer all you can eat lunch and dinner options (around $15 for lunch and $25 for dinner). We've been there many times and the quality of their fish is always first rate, and they offer ample portion sizes (no slivers of fish on huge mounds of rice here!). They're closed a few days a week so it's best to call ahead and make sure they're open. Tel. 775-831-2777.
- Bite Restaurant and Lounge (moderate) - This is a pretty fun place for tapas and drinks -- you can easily make a meal of their various tapas offerings which are quite creative, and consistently very good. 907 Tahoe Blvd., Tel. 775-831-5100. http://www.bitetahoe.com/
