The off season is 2 for 1 time. Check "The Weekly", The Sierra Sun, and other local papers for 2 for 1 coupons and other dining specials offered by many of our favorite restaurants. You can find these papers outside most of Tahoe markets and at newspaper stands.
Activities Discounts
"The Weekly" and other publications you can find in stands at the local markets have many discount coupons for activities like rafting, kayak rental, ski rental, etc.

Truckee River Winery
If you enjoy wine, you should check out Russ Jones' family-run winery in Truckee. Truckee River Winery has been around for 20 years, producing a very nice Sauvignon Blanc, but we're red wine people so we're drawn primarily to Russ' Zins and Pinots. It's tough to find a nice Pinot these days -- if you're a fan of Pinot Noir, you owe it to yourself to visit the winery and try these incredible Pinots. The winery is in a very picturesque setting on the south side of the Truckee River just across from downtown Truckee.
